Throughout 2015, Macphun developers worked closely with world-renowned HDR photographer, Trey Ratcliff, to co-develop their own HDR software, Aurora HDR.
This was Macphun’s biggest product launch to date and they needed to ensure it received the worldwide coverage.
In addition to the UK and EU PR, we also took on the worldwide PR for the Aurora launch. We worked with the Macphun team to develop a plan and strategy. Although we have strong relationships with EU media, the US was new territory for us so we worked alongside Macphun’s US PR team to collate a press list and make new contacts.
In the month after launch, Aurora HDR was covered by media over 100 times, with coverage views reaching nearly 2.2 million – the most successful and talked-about product launch ever seen by the company. Regular updates to media through emails and phone calls, and communication between Digital Glue and the team at Macphun assured this extensive coverage for Aurora HDR.
